I had the privilege of speaking with the OKC-Sharp developer meetup group in Oklahoma City this week and talking about why and how I learned to code in order to build our mobile app. I talk about how I learned to code and share tips for others that want to learn. This talk is geared towards software developers but there should be lessons I talk about that apply to all areas of learning.
I walked by this okra and saw it had a lot of flies on it. That gave me a clue in to a potential aphid problem. I also talk about how to handle aphids both manually and with nature’s help.

This is an update on our lettuce, cabbage, and cilantro planted 7/30/2017. We also plant another round of carrots, beans, peas, and lettuce! Here’s a link to the seeding square we used to plant in the video:
We started our spring crops off by planting onions and peas! I also planted a rosemary bush I picked up from the nursery and I talk about how we use companion planting to help with cabbage moths.
