Ever since we started growing food in 2015 we became obsessed with the idea of trying to make many of the things we used to buy from the store ourselves.

This is a quick update and tour of our zone 7 urban Oklahoma backyard farm where we’re attempting to grow most of the vegetables for our family of 6!
A lot of our plants look like they just tried to fly United after the hail storm we had this week. This video shows what we did to help them along in the recovery process.
Birds stole many of our seeds and cats were walking through our gardens at night. We solved both problems with 3 easy solutions: Hardware Mesh, Motion Activated Sprinkler, and Burlap Motion activated sprinkler in action
