Honeybees live in colonies with one queen, worker bees (females) collecting food for honey, and male drones. Honeybees are important pollinators for flowers, fruits, and vegetables. Honeybees are disappearing and are so important to try to keep around!
Mint is not only easy to care for, but it grows and spreads by itself, coming back year after year. For this reason, it is best to keep mints in their own containers so they do not take over other plants in the garden. Mint has a plethora of flavors, and each of those flavors has its own plethora of uses. Popular varieties of mint include spearmint, peppermint, and chocolate mint.
These mites are extremely small relatives of spiders. They are typically found on the undersides of leaves. An easy way to check for them is to place a sheet of white paper underneath the leaves and gently tap. If you see moving specks on the paper then you have a problem.
