How to Attract or Encourage:

  • First off, make sure that you do not use any pesticides in your garden! This can harm your beneficials as well as your pests.
  • Dill, morning glory, sunflowers, tansies, and yarrow attract ladybugs.
  • Ladybugs can be purchased on Amazon or bought at your local nursery. Ladybugs only fly during the day, so releasing them in an infested area at sundown is the best way to keep the ladybugs in your garden. Release about 2 per 1 square foot of garden space.
