It’s important to get your baby plants accustomed to the outdoor environment before you transplant them outdoors. This will help them do better when you transplant them and keep them from going through shock.
We planted some of our cool season seeds today in our Park Seed 60 cell Bio Dome! We planted artichokes, cauliflower, 2 different varieties of kohlrabi, 2 different varieties of bok choy (pak choi), and 4 different varieties of cabbage.
Our cool season crops (broccoli, cauliflower, & Brussels sprouts) that we planted in our Bio Dome last week are doing really well and are ready to be up-potted into larger containers before they go outside!
Our tomatoes have outgrown their containers that we started them in and now it’s time to transplant them into larger pots until they go out into the garden in a few weeks. I want to wait until night time temperatures are consistently in the 50s before I plant them outside.
