March Update – Customized Planting Dates for Your GPS Location in Our From Seed to Spoon Garden Planning Growing Guides Mobile App!

This update adds many new and exciting features! Most notably, we will now use your location to provide you with customized dates for indoor seed starting and earliest outdoor planting based on data from your nearest weather station! We've also added a filter menu on the vegetables list that lets you filter down to specific seasons. Check out the rest of our new features and a video of the update in action below.

    • Added labels for warm season, cool season, and perennials
    • Added days to harvest to the list
    • Added starting method to the list (tablet only)

    • Added Indoor Seed Starting Date based on your location
    • Added Earliest Outdoor Planting Date based on your location
    • Reorganized several fields to improve readability
    • We now display the last spring freeze date for your location

  1. What if we live in Zone 10 and get no frost ever? The GPS is pulling from a different location not near me. In my case I live in Kailua Kona Hawaii but the app is pulling from top of Mauna Loa which is a higher elevation and not accurate for me. When I set the location on the map and bypass GPS it still pulls frost date from the top of the mountain…
