How to Change Plant Icons in Your Visual Garden Layout

Learn how to quickly customize plant icons in your Seed to Spoon garden layout! In just a few taps, you can choose a variety-specific image or upload your own photo to make your garden layout uniquely yours. Watch the video to see how it's done!

One of the features we love most in our new Visual Garden Planner inside the Seed to Spoon app is how easy it is to make your garden truly feel like your garden!

Whether you want to quickly spot your tomato patch or show off that exact variety of zinnia you’re growing, you can now customize the plant icons in your layout. This means you can either use the built-in variety-specific images or upload your own plant photo!

Here’s how to do it in just a few taps:


🌱 How to Change a Plant Icon in Your Garden Layout

  1. Open your garden layout in the Seed to Spoon app.

  2. Tap on the plant you want to update.

  3. In the pop-up details below, tap the three dots (“More”) in the corner.

  4. Select “Change Plant Icon” from the menu.

  5. Choose from the existing images that are specific to the variety you planted—or upload your own image from your device!

That’s it! 🎉 Your garden layout will now reflect your chosen image, making it easier than ever to track what’s growing where.
